Dear Cousin,

Some of you are already aware of the Adkins Family Organization, by word of mouth, or having found it on the web. Those of us involved in putting it together think it’s evolving into a pretty good organization.

The Adkins Family Organization provides a paid membership in the Federation of Genealogical Societies for each of its members.

(Your membership in Adkins Family Organization is free, too! But, you have to join the Adkins Family Organization to get the free membership in the Federation of Genealogical Societies.)

One of the most valuable benefits of our organization’s membership in the Federation of Genealogical Societies is their annual conference.

This year it is being held in Davenport, Iowa, on September 12^th, 13^th, 14^th, and 15^th.

This conference is four solid days of lectures, workshops and classes, along with evening discussion sessions; almost two hundred topics! And, there’s an optional track for professional genealogists on September 11^th and 12^th. The conference prices are very reasonable.

Along with this, there are luncheons—each with a program, a reception, and a banquet.

This year, there’s also a free party to celebrate the Federation’s 25^th year!

This is the conference for the nation’s genealogists.
